Forest Creek Refuge is a retreat center created in collaboration with the Khyentse Foundation to be a meeting place in support of children’s contemplative education.

 

The center is available to educators, researchers, nonprofit leaders, policymakers, and others working to advance emotional, mental, and social well-being in all children’s schools, for the benefit of future generations worldwide and an uplifted society.

Forest Creek Refuge invites those in the field of education to use the space for retreat and collaboration - whether to come together for teacher training, shared brainstorming and community impact, or to engage in solitary time for writing, study, and reflection in service of contemplative education for children.

 

The Refuge is located in the countryside just 35 minutes from the Portland, Oregon airport.  All meals and accommodations will be donated as an offering in appreciation for your work.
